I like the whiskers, the way they curve up in that way. It looks really cool, almost making like a frame for the actual head. Draws you to it right away.

Thanks Grant, Checkmark. I am trying a few other things as well, but all in all I guess I still prefer to draw people and faces - something in the fact that I can try and get some of the personality to come thru. I guess the animals are pretty ok as well because they are living and breathing...

One thing that I think it is about the face is the eyes. You can look into somethings eyes, and sorta know what it's like.
