I said once already, but I'll say it again. Cool job, it's awesome. The Cylon and the ship flame look so awesome. The way you make that effect is one I've not seen before, and I think it's perfect.

heh, glad you like it :) you can thank photoshop for the light effects -- i just play around with blurs and opacities until i think it looks cool.

Hey Grant ... been outta the loop for a while, just crazy busy at the moment. so no posts or comments. I took a look at the step-by-step and have to say I think your composition and line work is simply top drawer. Damn fine job. I especially like the fact that you chose to make the dude in the top right look out of the picture as opposed to the original where he look ed off to the side. The grey scale version is very powerful the only thing I might have changed is a touch more red in the cylon to spark thru more. Fantastic work, thanks for sharing!
